Course Objectives
- Empowering students with knowledge about corporate Financial-Accounting (FA) practice
- Creating awareness about processes related to Financial Accounting (e.g. AR, AP, P2P, L2C)
- Enabling students understand aspects of computerization of FA and related processes
- Equipping students with understanding of ERP modules’ functionality and popular ERP packages
- Making students aware of typical formats, reports for documents related to FA
- Facilitating transition from Campus to Corporate.

Unit 1
Sessions on Corporate Computerized Accounting and related topics in the corporate world (Three Modules)
Module 1 – Fundamentals of FA
Module 2 – ERP functionality and features, AP & AR processes, Role of FA in ERP in corporate world
Module 3 – Computerized FA; Formats and Processes in the Corporate world.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course participants will be able to –
- Understand features of Computerized Accounting, typical Input & Output formats, processes involved in the corporate world.
- Understand ERP features, Role of Accounting in ERP package.
- Utilize features of Tally accounting package in Corporate Computerized Accounting
related work. - Use and apply basic features of Microsoft Excel
