Course Objectives

  1. Familiarize yourself with different status, needs and emotions of different societal components.
  2. Acquiring some basic skills for leadership and social change.
  3. Understanding needs and opportunities in different careers, which are beneficial for society as well as which can create a sense of fulfilment.

Course Outline

Unit 1
Social Awareness

Community participation and team building; Problem to Solution.

Unit 3
Group Activities

Working with different communities; Social organizations;
Individual tasks; Challenge Designing.

Unit 2
Leadership

Skills (Thinking; Planning and Execution); Team work.


Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course participants will be able to –

  1. Understand the need and scope of social leadership.
  2. Gain experience in interacting with people from society and working on social issues.
  3. Acquire on the ground experience and motivation by interacting with different social leaders.
  4. Introduced to different skills of leadership and will have the opportunity to practice them.
